for the unique hand made flying wing

aircraft (free flight gliders) my family
and I produce. We are a family owned
business
and have been around (in varying degrees)
for about 10 years now. Our gliders
are not
widely known, but have flown on 6 of
the
7 continents (I'm still trying to get
some
to Antarctica!). They have made it
to England,
France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Spain,
Poland, South Africa, Uganda, Israel,
Saudi
Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nepal, Brazil,
Australia, Japan, Korea, The Philippines,
Canada, Mexico, all 50 of the United
States,
Guam, and Puerto Rico. |
| So What Are Zing Wings? | |
| Zing Wings are high performance flying wing gliders (no tail or fuselage) that look much like hang gliders. They fold in half, and are shot skywards with a catapult launcher. At an altitude of up to 100 feet, a small rubber band pulls the wings open and they begin a long, graceful glide. Zing Wings have an average flight time of between 30 to 45 seconds in calm conditions, but have great soaring abilities. Flights of several minutes are common if they encounter rising air, which often occurs on sunny days. My personal best flight is over 10 minutes. Zing Wings are best flown during light wind conditions in large clear areas like parks and school grounds. The wings are made of durable extruded polystyrene foam (similar to Depron). All our gliders come complete with easily assembled catapult launchers and detailed instructions. There are several videos on the Gallery page that you can watch to see how great Zing Wings fly.
